The Hoover WindTunnel All-Terrain at $181 earns praise for its dual brushrolls and swivel steering, with complaints about cheap-feeling plastics.

Look at iRobot first if you want floors kept clear every day without lifting a finger and can spend $500 or more for a model like the Max 715 Vac. Hoover makes more sense if your home is carpeted, you would rather spend $330 or less, and you are willing to push the vacuum yourself.
