Eufy Vacuums

Eufy has 11 vacuums on The Vacuum List, across 2 machine types, priced from ~$210 to ~$1,500, 9 of which also mop. The flagship of the lineup is the Eufy Omni S2. Compare the full lineup below.

Anker Innovations, the charging-accessory company founded in 2011, sells its smart-home products under the eufy name, one of five product families it now groups under the Anker banner. The robot vacuums carry the RoboVac and Omni names, and eufy's current store groups the Omni docks into three series: S at the top, E in the middle and C as the entry point.

The models listed here span that whole ladder plus some older machines. At the bottom, the RoboVac 11S Max ($280) is a no-app, no-map bump-and-turn robot; owners keep it for exactly that simplicity and its 2.85-inch height, and accept that coverage comes from running it daily. The now-discontinued L60 added camera-based obstacle avoidance without a dock. From the Omni C20 upward every model has a station that empties the bin and washes the mop, and the money buys mopping hardware: the now-discontinued X10 Pro Omni used twin spinning pads, while the Omni E28, the discontinued S1 Pro and the S2 switch to a self-rinsing roller mop. The E28 is the odd one out, with a detachable spot cleaner for upholstery stored in the dock.

Owners' reports split along floor type more than price. The S1 Pro's roller mop wins praise on hardwood and tile, but owners call it weak on carpet and say it strands itself on long-pile rugs. The S2 reverses that trade: owners credit it with much better carpet pickup and near-flawless obstacle avoidance, while its mopping uses so little water that dried stains come off less well than on the S1 Pro. E28 owners like the portable cleaner but name noise as their most common complaint, and both the E28 and the C20 wrap long hair around the brush.

Two things to check before buying. First, decide whether the house is mostly carpet or mostly hard floor, because the roller-mop models are not equally good at both. Second, check the warranty for the exact model and seller: eufy's own policy page lists 12 months for RoboVac models bought from its store and says terms can differ through third-party retailers.

Eufy vacuums: common questions

What is the difference between eufy's S, E and C series robots?▾

eufy sorts its Omni robots into an S series at the top, an E series in the middle and a C series as the entry point. All three have docks that empty the robot and wash its mop, and the higher series add stronger suction, roller mops and more dock functions.

Which eufy robot is better for carpet?▾

Among the models listed here, owners credit the Omni S2 and the Omni E28 with strong carpet deep cleaning. The Omni S1 Pro is the one owners warn carpeted homes away from, since its strength is the roller mop on hard floors.

Does a eufy robot need an app?▾

Most do, but the RoboVac 11S Max does not. It runs from a button or the included remote, keeps no map and needs no cloud account, which is why owners buy it for relatives who will never install an app.
