Riccar
Riccar Clean Air Premium Pet Upright Vacuum
This is Riccar's answer to a genuine two-speed pet-hair upright, one step up from the featherweight SupraLite already in the catalog and built with a hose, wand, and full onboard tool set the SupraLite Entry lacks. The dust-and-allergen sensor is a nice touch — amber headlights light up when the sensor detects fur, dander, or dust so you know where to go back over — and the 5-year warranty plus dealer-serviced construction match the brand's reputation for longevity. A true HEPA pleated filter with a self-sealing bag keeps the allergy case intact, which not every 'HEPA media' dealer vacuum can claim. What Riccar doesn't publish is frustrating for comparison shopping: no motor wattage, weight, or bag capacity anywhere on the spec sheet, so you're trusting the brand's reputation more than a number. At $800 it's a serious step up from mainstream pet uprights, and like the rest of the Riccar line it's sold through local vacuum dealers rather than Amazon — expect to have it demonstrated and serviced in person rather than ordered with two-day shipping.
