Dreame vs Lefant

On the numbers, Dreame fields the deeper lineup (31 models), while Lefant has the cheaper entry point at ~$90, while Dreame leans harder into mopping (25 mopping machines). The table has the lineup-level numbers; the matchups below put individual models spec sheet to spec sheet.

Which brand to buy

Lefant's only current robot costs less than Dreame's cheapest. Lefant's range ran from the Lefant M210 at $90 to the Lefant N3 at $200, but both are now discontinued, leaving the Lefant M2S Pro at $180; Dreame's robots start with the Dreame D20 Air Plus at $270, and Dreame also sells cordless sticks and floor washers that Lefant doesn't. So the overlap is robots, but in neighboring price bands.

What the extra money buys is the dock. The M2S Pro empties itself, but no Lefant washes its own mop. Dreame's L10s Ultra, now discontinued and replaced by the L40 Ultra Gen 2 at $570, both emptied and washed. Its owners called that a rare deal, then noted it had no obstacle avoidance and no hot-water washing, so pads turn musty within a couple of weeks without hand cleaning. Owners of Dreame's D20 Plus at $310 report tangle-free brushes with multiple pets but describe the mop as a passive wipe.

Lefant's case rests on its listed specs, with little owner feedback behind it: LiDAR mapping, 10000 Pa and 240 minutes of rated runtime on the M2S Pro. That is a lot of hardware for $180, but nothing yet says how it holds up. If your budget is $200 or less, Lefant is the only one of the two in reach, and the M2S Pro is the one to start with. If you can spend more and want mops washed for you, Dreame is the safer, better-documented buy.

Dreame vs Lefant: common questions

Is the Lefant M2S Pro a good alternative to a Dreame robot?▾

On paper the Lefant M2S Pro offers self-emptying, LiDAR and 10000 Pa for $180, but it has no long-term track record yet. Dreame's L10s Ultra added mop washing with owner reports behind it, but it is now discontinued; its successor, the L40 Ultra Gen 2, costs $570.

Does any Lefant robot wash its own mop like Dreame's?▾

No. None of the Lefant robots has an auto mop-washing dock, which Dreame includes on most of its robots, including the L40 Ultra Gen 2 that replaced the L10s Ultra.
