The Omni-glide is Dyson's lightest and most maneuverable cordless stick, purpose-built for hard floors rather than whole-home cleaning. Twisting the handle rotates the cleaner head 90 degrees so it can clean sideways under and around furniture legs, and the whole machine lies flat to slide under low cabinets. The honest tradeoff for that maneuverability: it's a hard-floor specialist, not a carpet machine, the tiny 50ml bin needs frequent emptying, and 20 minutes of runtime is short even by Dyson's standards. Treat this as a second vacuum for a kitchen or hard-floor apartment, not a house's only machine.
