Eureka
Eureka WhirlWind NEN110A
This is Eureka's budget bagless canister — a small body you pull behind you on a 9-foot hose and telescoping wand, built for hard floors, rugs, and upholstery rather than deep carpet. The 960-watt motor and integrated airflow control on the handle let you dial suction down for curtains or up for rugs, and at 8.2 pounds the canister itself is light enough to carry up stairs. Filtration is a washable design rather than HEPA, so allergy households should look elsewhere, and Eureka doesn't include a motorized floor head on this model — it's a suction-only machine, which limits how well it digs embedded dirt out of thicker carpet. It's also on the louder side at 82 dB. For under $80, though, it's a straightforward pick for someone whose home is mostly hard flooring and wants a lightweight alternative to an upright.
