LG Vacuums
LG has 8 vacuums on The Vacuum List, all cordless sticks, priced from ~$299 to ~$1,000. The flagship of the lineup is the LG CordZero All-in-One A949KTMS. Compare the full lineup below.
Every LG Electronics model listed here is a CordZero cordless stick. The line was built around two pieces LG still promotes, its Smart Inverter Motor and click-out batteries that swap without tools. The CordZero A9 range went on pre-order in Hong Kong in December 2018 with a two-battery design. The US models listed here are later versions of the same idea, and most add LG's Kompressor lever, which presses debris down in the bin; LG says this gives 2.4 times more bin capacity.
The line steps up on two features: an auto-empty tower and a second battery. The CordZero Q3 ($299) is the basic stick, with one battery, no app and a floor head that adjusts suction between carpet and hard floor. The two Kompressor sticks at $600 skip the tower: the A923KGMP has one battery and ThinQ app monitoring, the A925KSM two batteries. The All-in-One models add the tower, which empties the bin into a bag each time the stick is docked: the A931KWM ($600) with one battery, the A949KTMS ($1,000) with two batteries and a spray-mop head, and the A937KGMS ($800), which LG rates at up to 120 minutes on its two batteries.
Owners of the tower models like rarely touching the bin, but the tower uses LG's own replacement bags, and the filters still need hand-washing. A931KWM owners say debris, especially pet hair, sometimes jams in the dock, and they report 14 to 20 minutes at the power setting they need, against a 60-minute rating. A949KTMS owners rate its vacuuming highly and call the mop head the weak point. Q3 owners praise the removable battery and washable cyclone, but say it does little on deep carpet and that the lowest power setting barely picks anything up.
LG's US warranty on the A937KGMS is one year for parts and labor, plus ten years on parts only for the Smart Inverter suction motor. Labor on a motor failure after the first year is therefore not covered, so read the motor warranty as a parts guarantee.

Check price →LG vacuums: common questions
What does LG's Kompressor feature do?▾
Kompressor is a lever on the stick that pushes collected debris down inside the bin. LG says it creates 2.4 times more bin capacity, so the stick goes longer between empties without a larger bin.
Does the LG All-in-One tower need bags?▾
Yes. The tower empties the stick's bin into a disposable bag, and owners note the replacement bags as an ongoing cost. The filters inside the stick still need hand-washing, because the tower does not clean them.
What warranty does LG give on CordZero vacuums?▾
For the A937KGMS, LG's US support page lists one year for parts and one year for labor, plus ten years on parts only for the Smart Inverter suction motor. Check the support page for the exact model number before buying.
