Levoit Vacuums

Levoit has 5 vacuums on The Vacuum List, all cordless sticks, priced from ~$199 to ~$350. The flagship of the lineup is the Levoit LVAC-300 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. Compare the full lineup below.

Most people know Levoit from air purifiers. The brand launched in 2016 under VeSync, the company behind Etekcity and Cosori, and by 2019 VeSync said it was the top seller of air purifiers on Amazon in the US. Its vacuums came later and are all cordless sticks. They connect to the same VeSync app as the purifiers and humidifiers, which suits a household that already runs one.

All five models listed here are sold on Levoit's own store, and they form two generations. The older LVAC series is the LVAC-200 ($200), a 3.2-pound stick whose wand lies flat to reach under beds, and the LVAC-300 ($350), which adds app control. The newer VortexIQ line adds Levoit's NeoSight dust-revealing light: the VortexIQ ($199) is rated at 80 AW, the VortexIQ Pro ($299) steps up to 110 AW with a longer rated runtime and a small motorized brush, and the AERO ($299) is rated at 180 AW and comes with a dock that empties the bin into a bag.

Owners of all four models that have reports agree that Levoit's anti-tangle brushroll keeps hair off the roller. They also agree on its limit: these are hard-floor and low-pile machines. LVAC-200 owners say it skims medium and deep carpet rather than cleaning it, and some keep a plug-in vacuum for that job. VortexIQ owners measure 20 to 25 minutes at higher power against the 50-minute rating, and note that it will not stand on its own. AERO owners like the bagged dock because emptying raises no dust cloud, but they trade some suction for the light body and buy replacement bags from Levoit. A minority of LVAC-200 owners report units failing in the first months, and they describe Levoit's warranty service as quick.

Levoit's warranty runs two years from the original purchase and is not transferable. It lists batteries and filters as wear items that it excludes, so the part most likely to fade on a cordless stick is not covered. That makes a spare or replacement battery worth pricing before choosing a model.

Levoit vacuums: common questions

Is the Levoit warranty two years on vacuums?▾

Yes. Levoit's policy gives two years from the original purchase on all products, including vacuums. It excludes normal wear items such as batteries and filters, and the coverage applies only to the original buyer.

What is the difference between the Levoit VortexIQ Pro and the AERO?▾

Both are $299 cordless sticks. The VortexIQ Pro has a manual bin, the NeoSight dust light and a mini motorized brush, while the AERO adds a dock that empties the bin into a bag. AERO owners say the light body costs some suction on deep carpet.

Can a Levoit stick vacuum clean thick carpet?▾

Not well. Owners of the LVAC-200 say it skims medium and high-pile carpet, and the base VortexIQ draws similar comments on deep cleaning. The VortexIQ Pro does better on carpet, but every model listed here suits hard floors and low pile best.
