It briefly held the #1 spot on Vacuum Wars' Top 20, dethroning the Ecovacs X9 Omni, on the strength of an 88% carpet deep-clean score, the strongest suction they'd bench-tested (1.47 kPa), and a party trick nothing else could match: it was the first robot to clear all three of their threshold tests, climbing 6cm transitions. Owner discussion is still thin compared with Roborock — most of the signal comes from testing outlets rather than years of Reddit threads.

In practice it's close to hands-off. The mini-fridge-sized dock hot-washes the pads, carries dual cleaning solutions including a pet odor formula, and heat-dries not just the pads but the dust bag and filter; SlashGear found it noticeably quieter than comparable flagships. Mopping is genuinely good (109 dried-stain score vs 93 average) while laying down very little water. The weak points: obstacle avoidance is below average at 14/24, the app is deep but initially overwhelming, and early firmware produced skipped rooms and doorway confusion — mostly cleaned up by updates. If something breaks, be warned that Trustpilot reviewers describe Mova support as scripted and slow.

Buy it if your home has raised thresholds, thick transitions, or under-bed spaces that defeat other robots, and you keep floors reasonably picked up. List price runs $1,099-1,399 depending on bundle, but it's routinely $700-800 — at that price it delivers most of what a $1,600 Roborock Saros 10R does. Skip it if cluttered floors or established-brand support matter more to you than raw cleaning scores.
