Measured suction of 2.30 kPa is genuinely elite; for comparison, the similarly priced Roborock Qrevo Edge measured 0.45 kPa on the same bench.

Day to day, it vacuums and mops better than it thinks. Pet hair pickup hit 97% with zero tangles, carpet deep-cleaning is above average, and the mop lifts 10mm over rugs and extends at edges. The dock handles emptying, hot-water washing, heated drying, and detergent automatically. The catch is the brain: obstacle avoidance scored below average, so cables and small clutter need to be cleared before it runs, and the app is buggier than Roborock's — owners report vanished maps and dock connectivity drops. Dried-on stains also expose the roller's one mopping flaw: it moves past them too fast to scrub them out.

This is the value flagship: Ecovacs prices it roughly 20% under equivalent Roborock and Dreame machines, and at its recurring $549 sale price it's arguably the most cleaning power per dollar in the premium tier. It fits tidy households with pets — heavy shedders should watch the bin-packing complaints — that will trade some software polish for hardware that outperforms robots costing $400 more. If you want the smartest robot rather than the strongest one, pay up for a Roborock instead.
