Pros & cons
Eufy Omni S2
- ✓Huge carpet upgrade over the Omni S1 Pro - 87% embedded sand removal versus the S1's 61% in Vacuum Wars testing
- ✓Perfect 24-of-24 obstacle avoidance run thanks to 3D MatrixEye ToF vision with an auto LED light matrix
- ✓HydroJet 2.0 roller mop continuously self-cleans with electrolyzed water through 32 injection holes and posted a 0% hair-tangle rate
- ✓DuoSpiral split main brush and extending side brush chew through long pet hair without wrapping
- ✓12-in-1 UniClean dock handles emptying, 140°F mop washing, 131°F drying, water refills, and three-scent aromatherapy
- ✗Hard-floor mopping actually scored worse than the cheaper Omni S1 Pro in head-to-head testing
- ✗Premium $1,599.99 price with slower, less efficient navigation than other flagships
- ✗Threshold climbing is inconsistent on taller 1.25-inch (32mm) transitions
- ✗Camera/ToF navigation skips the LiDAR turret, so mapping can struggle in very dark rooms
Dreame Matrix10 Pro
- ✓30,000Pa suction ties Dreame's top tier
- ✓212°F (100°C) hot-water mop washing plus hot-air drying at the dock
- ✓Mop pads fully remove when the robot detects carpet, so rugs never get wet
- ✓5.5L water tank and 3.2L dust bag stretch maintenance to roughly 100 days
- ✓Extendable side brush and dual-mop system reach edges better than single-pad designs
- ✗Expensive relative to Dreame's L-series, which gets close on suction for much less
- ✗Battery runtime and noise level aren't published by Dreame
- ✗250ml onboard dust box is on the small side even with auto-empty
- ✗Matrix10 Ultra sibling adds a retractable sensor mast, so this Pro trim isn't the newest hardware in the line
